The Mackie ProFX6v3+ is a compact 6-channel analog mixer and USB-C audio interface for creators, musicians, podcasters, and small live-sound systems. It brings microphones, instruments, computer audio, Bluetooth playback, and portable-device audio into one hands-on mixing surface. This makes it useful when a simple desktop setup needs more source control than a standalone audio interface provides.

Two Onyx microphone preamps provide up to 60 dB of gain for microphones and other low-level sources. Channels 1 and 2 add one-button compression, two-band EQ, 100 Hz low-cut filtering, and Hi-Z switching for direct instrument connection. The result is a practical front end for voice, acoustic instrument, guitar, and compact performance setups.

The GigFX+ engine adds editable digital effects to the analog workflow. Its full-color LCD lets users adjust and save 12 effects presets directly from the mixer. This provides convenient ambience and creative processing for livestreams, rehearsals, recordings, and small events without relying on a separate effects processor.

Its USB-C interface supports 24-bit/192 kHz conversion and 2x4 USB audio operation. Standard mode records the main mix, Loopback mode combines computer and mixer audio for streaming, and Interface mode sends channels 1 and 2 without effects or EQ processing. A headphone blend control helps balance computer playback with a direct mixer feed for latency-free monitoring.

Bidirectional Bluetooth supports music playback and caller integration from a compatible mobile device. The mixer also includes a stereo 1/8-inch input for an additional playback source and balanced XLR main outputs for connection to powered speakers or a recording chain. It fits naturally at the center of a compact creator workstation, rehearsal rig, or small PA system.

Design & Installation

The ProFX6v3+ uses a solid steel chassis with ABS side protection for portable use. Its top-panel layout keeps input gain, EQ, compression, effects, monitoring, and master controls within reach. A two-column, eight-segment main L/R meter provides visual output monitoring.

Place the mixer on a stable desktop, workstation, or performance surface with clear access to the connections and controls. Connect microphones or instruments to channels 1 and 2, route the XLR main outputs to compatible powered speakers or downstream equipment, and use USB-C for computer audio. Use the supplied external 12 VDC power adapter and set levels while monitoring the main output meters.
