The Mackie ProFX10v3 is a compact 10-channel analog mixer with USB audio connectivity for small live-sound systems, recording setups, podcasts, streaming rigs, and content-production desks. It provides a central place to connect microphones, instruments, stereo sources, computers, headphones, monitors, and powered speakers. Hands-on channel controls make it practical for users who want direct access to gain, EQ, effects, and output levels.

Four Onyx microphone preamps provide up to 60 dB of gain for microphones and other compatible sources. Channels 1 and 2 include switchable Hi-Z operation for direct guitar, bass, or instrument connection without a separate DI box. The mixer also includes low-cut filtering on mic-input channels to help reduce unwanted low-frequency rumble.

Its USB 2.0 interface supports 24-bit audio at 44.1, 48, 96, or 192 kHz for recording and playback with a Mac or PC. The USB configuration provides one stereo input and two stereo outputs, enabling computer playback and recording within the same setup. A dedicated blend control lets users monitor live inputs and USB playback together without monitoring latency.

The onboard GigFX engine includes 24 effect presets, covering reverbs, delays, chorus, echo, flange, auto-wah, and other treatments. One-knob compression is available on channels 1 and 2 for fast dynamic control. Three-band EQ on the mono channels gives users practical tonal adjustment at the mixer.

For system integration, the ProFX10v3 provides balanced XLR and 1/4-inch main outputs, control-room outputs, a headphone output, an FX send, and channel insert connections. It can feed powered PA speakers for a performance, control-room monitors for a recording desk, or headphones for personal monitoring. Its compact format makes it suitable for desktop use, portable production systems, and small-event audio control.

Design & Installation

The ProFX10v3 uses a compact, rugged mixer format with physical knobs, switches, channel controls, LED metering, and accessible connection points. Its layout separates input processing, effects, monitoring, and master-output control for straightforward operation during recording or live use. Mackie specifies a compact chassis measuring 10.7 inches wide by 11.9 inches deep by 3.3 inches high.

Place the mixer on a stable surface with room for top-panel and rear-panel connections. Connect microphones and line-level sources to the appropriate input channels, then route the balanced main outputs to powered speakers, amplifiers, or downstream equipment; use the control-room outputs for monitors and the 1/4-inch phones jack for headphones. Connect a computer through USB for recording or playback, and use the 12 VDC, 2 A locking power connection with its wall-mount adapter.
