The Roland FP-60X-WH is an 88-key portable digital piano for players who need a full-size instrument without dedicating space to an acoustic piano. Its white cabinet, integrated stereo speakers, headphone outputs, and included damper pedal make it suited to home practice, lessons, rehearsal, and compact performance setups. It can be used on a portable keyboard stand or expanded with optional Roland furniture-style accessories.

The SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine is designed to respond to changes in playing dynamics, supporting expressive piano performance from soft passages to stronger attacks. The FP-60X also provides electric piano, organ, string, pad, synth, drum-set, and sound-effect tones for broader musical use. With 256-note maximum polyphony, it supports sustained passages and layered sounds with substantial note capacity.

Its PHA-4 Standard keyboard has 88 progressive-hammer-action keys with escapement and ivory-feel surfaces. This weighted action gives pianists an acoustic-style playing response while retaining the practical benefits of a digital instrument. Key Touch and Hammer Response settings allow the feel to be adjusted for different players and playing styles.

The onboard 26-watt stereo amplifier drives two boxed speakers, allowing the FP-60X to operate without an external amplifier for everyday use. A three-band digital equalizer, ambience settings, rotary speaker effect for organ tones, and modulation control for electric-piano tones provide practical sound shaping. Piano Designer settings allow detailed adjustment of selected piano-tone characteristics.

Bluetooth audio streams music through the piano speakers, while Bluetooth MIDI and USB MIDI/audio connectivity support compatible apps, computers, and recording workflows. Two headphone jacks support quiet practice or teacher-student use, and Headphones 3D Ambience is available for headphone listening. A 1/4-inch microphone input with vocal effects also allows a singer to be mixed with the piano sound.

Design & Installation

The FP-60X-WH has a streamlined white cabinet with a graphic LCD, physical volume and EQ sliders, part sliders, mic controls, and integrated speaker boxes. Its compact chassis measures just over 50 inches wide while retaining a full 88-key layout. The music rest and DP-10 continuous-detection damper pedal are supplied for a ready-to-play setup.

Place the piano on a stable, level keyboard stand or use the optional KSC-72 dedicated stand for an upright-style installation. The optional KPD-90 pedal board adds a three-pedal configuration when used with the dedicated stand. Connect headphones for quiet practice, use the L/Mono and R outputs with external sound equipment, connect a computer through USB B, or use a supported USB flash drive for file playback and audio recording.
