The Mackie Thump15Sv4 is a 15-inch professional powered subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency output of a live sound system. Peak and RMS limiting, plus power-supply and amplifier thermal protection, help support dependable operation during demanding use.

Flexible crossover processing helps the Thump15Sv4 integrate with compatible powered loudspeakers. Dedicated high-pass modes are provided for Mackie Thump12v4, Thump15v4, and Thump GO speakers, while Variable mode allows adjustment for other connected loudspeakers. Each preset high-pass mode includes 1.4 ms of alignment delay to assist with system integration.

Stereo balanced XLR inputs accept a source signal, while separate balanced XLR full-range and high-pass outputs support expansion to top speakers or additional subwoofers. A stereo/mono full-range output mode, variable level control, and polarity invert switch provide useful setup control. The cabinet also includes an M20 threaded mount for an optional Mackie SPM400 speaker pole, allowing a compatible top speaker to be placed above the subwoofer.

The Thump15Sv4 uses rugged modern construction with integrated ergonomic carry handles for transport. Its 57.4-pound enclosure is designed to sit on a floor or stage, and Mackie specifies that it is not intended for suspension or rigging. The enclosure includes an M20 threaded mount for a compatible speaker pole, while the pole itself is sold separately.

Connect balanced XLR outputs from a mixer, DJ controller, or other line-level source to the stereo XLR inputs. Use the high-pass XLR outputs for powered top speakers and select the matching Thump 12, Thump 15, Thump GO, or Variable crossover mode; use the full-range outputs when sending an unfiltered signal to another subwoofer or downstream device.
