EMB PKL5000 15" Rechargeable Powered PA Speaker

The EMB PKL5000 is a self-contained rechargeable powered PA speaker for karaoke, parties, announcements, and casual event playback. It combines amplification, a 15-inch woofer, media playback options, and microphone support in one portable system. This approach simplifies setup for users who do not want to assemble separate speakers, amplifiers, mixers, and playback devices.

A 15-inch steel-frame woofer handles the low and midrange portion of the system, while a 1-inch titanium-diaphragm driver supports higher-frequency detail. EMB lists a 5000-watt peak power rating for the PKL5000; no RMS rating is published. The speaker is suited to music playback as well as voice reinforcement for hosting, karaoke, and announcements.

Bluetooth streaming, USB playback, SD-card playback, AUX, RCA, and XLR connections allow the PKL5000 to work with a range of program sources. Two 6.5mm inputs accommodate a wired microphone and a mic-or-guitar source. Rear-panel microphone volume, line-input volume, and echo controls provide straightforward adjustment without requiring an external mixer for basic use.

The included UHF wireless microphone gives singers and presenters cable-free operation, while the supplied remote provides access to playback and operating functions from away from the rear panel. The internal rechargeable battery supports placement where AC power is not immediately available. It can also operate from AC power and includes a DC 12V external battery input.

For a larger system, two PKL5000 speakers can be linked through True Wireless Stereo pairing for wireless stereo playback. A line output is available for connection to another audio device or speaker system. Preset EQ modes and the translucent cabinet with integrated 360-degree motion lighting add audio adjustment and visual presentation options for party-oriented setups.

Design & Installation

The PKL5000 uses a translucent multicolor cabinet with integrated 360-degree motion lighting. Its driver complement includes a 15-inch steel-frame woofer and a 1-inch titanium-diaphragm driver. Rear controls include microphone volume, line-input volume, echo adjustment, source selection, and EQ functions.

Place the speaker on a stable surface or mount it on the included tripod stand with the stand fully extended and locked before loading the speaker. Begin with volume controls turned down, select the desired source, and raise levels gradually. Use Bluetooth, USB, SD card, AUX, RCA, or XLR for music sources, and use the 6.5mm microphone and mic-or-guitar inputs when wired sources are needed.
