The Mackie SRM210 V-Class is a self-powered 10-inch professional loudspeaker designed for portable PA, stage-monitor, DJ, presentation, and installed-sound applications. Its integrated amplification and onboard mixer reduce the amount of external equipment needed for a small sound system. It is suited to performers, venues, event providers, and users who need a compact full-range speaker with flexible signal connections.

A 10-inch low-frequency driver and 1.4-inch polymer compression driver cover the full-range sound duties, with a published frequency range of 45 Hz to 20 kHz at -10 dB. The speaker is rated for up to 131 dB peak SPL and uses a custom Sym-X horn with 90-degree horizontal and 60-degree vertical coverage. This makes it practical for directing sound across audiences while also supporting floor-monitor placement.

The built-in 2000-watt peak Class-D amplifier system includes separate low- and high-frequency amplifier sections. Mackie specifies 1800 watts peak for the low-frequency amplifier and 200 watts peak for the high-frequency amplifier. Power Factor Correction and protective processing are incorporated to support stable operation with compatible AC power.

SRM Mix Control provides a built-in digital mixer with two mic/line/instrument-capable input channels, a stereo 1/8-inch auxiliary input, Bluetooth audio, EQ, speaker voicings, delay, and preset recall. A full-color TFT display and rotary control provide local access to setup functions. The SRM Connect app allows wireless adjustment of compatible speaker settings from a mobile device.

The SRM210 V-Class can serve as a standalone main speaker, a wedge monitor, or part of a larger system with additional loudspeakers and a subwoofer. Direct outputs and a post-DSP mix output support signal distribution to other speakers. When deeper low-frequency output is needed, the speaker provides subwoofer HPF options and variable crossover control for system integration.

Design & Installation

The SRM210 V-Class uses an asymmetrical black polypropylene enclosure with a light black textured finish. Its front grille is made from 16- to 18-gauge perforated steel with nylon net backing and a powder-coated black finish. The cabinet has one handle and weighs 30.9 pounds.

For portable use, place the cabinet on the floor, use the built-in pole socket with a suitably rated stand or speaker pole, or lay it on its side as a 45-degree monitor. The dual-angle pole mount offers a straight position or a 7-degree downward tilt. Integrated M10 mounting points support flown installation only when performed by an experienced technician using appropriate hardware and safety practices.
