A cardioid pickup pattern focuses on sound arriving from the front of the microphone while reducing pickup from the sides and rear. The MIC207 is specified with 600-ohm impedance and 58 dB audio sensitivity.

The dynamic microphone design does not require batteries or external phantom power for operation.
