The Roland GO:KEYS 5 GOKEYS5-GT is a portable 61-key music creation keyboard for developing songs, practicing, and playing without separate production equipment. Its touch-sensitive keyboard, built-in stereo speaker system, accompaniment tools, and onboard recording functions bring core creative tools together in one compact instrument. Built around Roland's ZEN-Core sound generator, GO:KEYS 5 provides 1,154 tones and 74 drum kits for piano, orchestral, synth, guitar, drum, and electronic parts. The 256-note maximum polyphony supports layered sounds, accompaniment, and sustained passages with room for complex arrangements. Tone MFX, total MFX, and reverb add processing options while keeping sound selection and performance controls accessible from the instrument.

For songwriters and developing players, the auto-accompaniment section provides 203 preset styles that follow chord input. The chord sequencer includes 304 preset patterns and user-editing capability, making it practical to explore progressions, arrange sections, and play melodies over a backing band. Four style variations and part-mute functions help shape intros, transitions, and song dynamics.

GO:KEYS 5 is equipped for independent practice and casual performance with two 5 cm speakers in speaker boxes and two passive radiators. Bluetooth 5.0 supports wireless audio streaming and MIDI over Bluetooth Low Energy, while USB Type-C provides class-compliant audio and MIDI connectivity for compatible computers and mobile devices. A microphone input and onboard vocal effects add options for singers, demos, and simple solo-performance setups.

The keyboard can play WAV and MP3 audio files from a USB flash drive and record WAV audio to USB storage. Stereo audio input, stereo line outputs, headphones, pedal connections, and USB memory support make it easy to connect external playback, monitoring, and control devices. It operates from the included AC adaptor or eight AA alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries for flexible placement.

Its integrated sound system places two 5 cm speakers in speaker boxes and adds two passive radiators. The keyboard measures 950 mm wide and weighs 4.9 kg without the optional music rest.

Place GO:KEYS 5 on a stable desk, table, or compatible keyboard stand such as Roland's optional KS-11Z, KS-13, or KS-20X. Connect the supplied AC adaptor for stationary use, or install eight supported AA alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries for portable operation.
