The EMB EMIC-1250PRO is a dual handheld VHF wireless microphone system for voice reinforcement, karaoke, presentations, and small-event audio. It gives two people the ability to use the same connected sound system without microphone cables. The compact receiver is designed to plug into compatible audio equipment for a straightforward portable setup.

This system suits homes, classrooms, houses of worship, DJs, ceremonies, business presentations, and casual stage use. Two included handheld microphones make it practical for duets, shared announcements, interviews, and audience participation. An amplified speaker, mixer, amplifier, karaoke system, or other compatible audio device is required for operation.

Its published 100 Hz to 10 kHz frequency response, 600-ohm impedance, and -72 dB sensitivity are oriented toward speech and vocal use. The system is intended to deliver wireless vocal audio through an external sound system rather than function as a studio-recording microphone package. VHF transmission provides cable-free operation for users who need room to move.

The EMIC-1250PRO uses a DSP chip frequency-lock design and a 24-bit/48 kHz A/D and D/A audio processor. These components support the system's wireless signal handling and audio conversion. The receiver has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery specified for approximately 4 to 8 hours of operation after a two-hour charge.

A direct 6.35 mm receiver connector lets the system integrate with compatible speakers, amplifiers, mixers, DJ controllers, and karaoke equipment. EMB also includes a 3.5 mm adapter for equipment with a smaller auxiliary-style input. This plug-and-play format is useful when adding two wireless vocal microphones to a portable PA or home entertainment setup.

The microphones use a matte black metal construction and handheld form factor. Their portable design is paired with a mini, compact receiver rather than a rack-mount receiver. The receiver is rechargeable, while the handheld microphones use 1.5V AA-size batteries.

Connect the receiver's 6.35 mm plug to a compatible input on an amplified speaker, mixer, amplifier, karaoke machine, DJ controller, stereo, or similar audio device. Use the included 3.5 mm adapter only when the destination equipment requires that size of connection, then power on the receiver and microphones. For reliable wireless operation, position the receiver with as clear a path as practical to the microphones and charge the receiver for about two hours before use.
