The Mackie SRT215 is a self-powered 15-inch professional loudspeaker designed for portable PA, DJ, live-performance, presentation, and venue sound systems. Its built-in amplification and onboard mixing reduce the amount of separate equipment needed for a basic sound setup. It is intended for users who need a full-range speaker that can serve as a main PA loudspeaker or stage monitor.

A 15-inch low-frequency driver and 1.4-inch polymer compression driver cover bass, midrange, and high-frequency duties in a two-way enclosure. The SRT215 is rated for 1600 watts peak system power and a maximum peak SPL of 133 dB. Its specified frequency range reaches from 42 Hz to 20 kHz at -10 dB, supporting music playback, amplified instruments, vocals, and speech.

Advanced Impulse DSP provides acoustic processing, crossover control, time alignment, and selectable speaker voicings. Five voicing modes help adapt the system for flat playback, live sound, speech, club-style music playback, or monitor use. A 3-band input EQ, variable high-pass filter, and alignment delay offer additional adjustment without requiring external processing for many applications.

SRT Mix Control integrates a 4-channel digital mixer with two combo mic/line inputs, a dedicated 1/8-inch stereo auxiliary input, and Bluetooth audio streaming. Each of the two primary inputs can support mic, line, or instrument-level sources as configured. A full-color rear-panel display and rotary control provide access to levels, EQ, presets, voicing, delay, and system settings.

The SRT215 can operate alone, feed additional loudspeakers through its direct and mix outputs, or work with a compatible powered subwoofer. Bluetooth linking supports connection between two SRT speakers for stereo or zone operation, while the SRT Connect app enables wireless control of supported settings. Its dual-angle pole mount, monitor wedge orientation, and M10 fly points provide multiple deployment options for portable and installed systems.

Design & Installation

The SRT215 uses an asymmetrical black polypropylene cabinet with a light black textured finish. Its front is protected by a powder-coated, perforated steel grille with nylon net backing. Two side handles and a partial top handle assist with transport, while front power/signal and rear speaker-control LEDs provide visible operating status.

For portable use, place the loudspeaker on the floor, mount it on a suitably rated speaker pole, or position it horizontally as a 45-degree floor monitor. The dual-angle pole socket provides a straight position or a 7-degree downward tilt for elevated placement. For permanent suspension, use the integrated M10 mounting points with appropriate rated hardware and qualified installation personnel; never suspend the loudspeaker by its handles.
