The Arturia ASTROLAB 61 WHITE is a 61-key stage keyboard designed to bring a large library of performance-ready instrument sounds into one self-contained hardware instrument. It is suited to keyboardists, producers, and performers who want to move sounds from a studio workflow to a live setup without relying on a computer at every performance. Its semi-weighted, piano-size keyboard includes aftertouch for expressive playing.

AstroLab combines acoustic-style keyboard sounds, organs, synthesizer voices, sampled textures, and other instrument types through its built-in sound engines. More than 1,300 onboard sounds provide a broad starting library for set lists, practice, writing, and production. The keyboard supports splits and multis so two parts can be assigned across the keybed or layered for fuller arrangements.

The hands-on layout centers on a navigation wheel and screen, ten preset buttons, four macro controls, and four dedicated effects controls. Brightness, Timbre, Time, and Movement macros provide direct access to selected sound-shaping parameters. Dedicated effect controls include Delay and Reverb, helping players make practical adjustments while performing.

Its onboard platform uses a 64-bit, six-core ARM processor with DDR4 memory and 32 GB of storage. The instrument provides 24-bit audio conversion at a 48 kHz sample rate, balanced main outputs, a headphone output, and balanced stereo audio inputs. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth audio input, USB, and MIDI connections support integration with companion software, external controllers, playback devices, and stage equipment.

For a performance rig, AstroLab can connect directly to a mixer, audio interface, powered speaker system, or monitor through its balanced 1/4-inch TRS outputs. Sustain, expression, and two auxiliary pedal inputs support foot control without adding another keyboard controller. The included Analog Lab Pro software extends sound management and supports transferring compatible presets to the instrument.

Design & Installation

The ASTROLAB 61 WHITE uses a streamlined white stage-keyboard format measuring 935 x 330 x 99 mm and weighing 9.9 kg. Its 61-note layout combines piano-size semi-weighted keys with LED-assisted performance controls, a screen, a navigation wheel, preset buttons, and continuous encoders. Arturia does not specify a chassis material in the published product specifications.

Place the keyboard on a stable stand or keyboard workstation and connect the included power supply before use. Run the balanced 1/4-inch TRS main outputs to a mixer, interface, or powered monitors; use the left output alone when a mono-summed output is needed. Connect optional sustain, expression, and auxiliary pedals as desired, then use USB-C, Wi-Fi, or the AstroLab Connect and Analog Lab software workflow to manage compatible sounds and playlists.
