The Audiobank P802 is a two-channel Class A-B car audio amplifier for adding dedicated power to a stereo speaker system or a compatible bridged mono setup. It is designed for vehicles whose factory or aftermarket receiver needs more output than its built-in amplifier can provide. With line-level and speaker-level inputs, it can fit a variety of source-unit configurations.

In stereo operation, the P802 is rated at 100 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms and is stable with compatible 2-ohm stereo loads. It can also be bridged for a single 4-ohm speaker load, with a listed 800-watt bridged maximum-power rating. This flexibility makes it suitable for powering a pair of speakers or a single compatible subwoofer application.

The amplifier uses Class A-B operation and a MOSFET pulse-width-modulated power supply. Its frequency response is listed at 20 Hz to 22 kHz, supporting full-range speaker use as well as filtered bass applications. A variable gain control helps match amplifier input level to the connected audio source.

Built-in crossover controls allow the P802 to be tuned for the speakers it powers. The high-pass filter adjusts from 80 Hz to 4 kHz, while the low-pass filter adjusts from 40 Hz to 300 Hz. Variable bass boost provides adjustment from 0 to +12 dB for systems that need additional low-frequency emphasis.

The compact amplifier chassis is intended for surface mounting in a dry, ventilated vehicle location. A heavy-duty aluminum-alloy heatsink helps dissipate heat during operation, while soft turn-on, thermal protection, and speaker-short protection support dependable installation. LED power and protection indicators provide visible operating-status feedback.

Mount the amplifier securely on a dry surface with airflow around the heatsink, away from moisture and excessive heat. Connect fused 12-volt power, a solid chassis ground, a remote turn-on lead, and either RCA or speaker-level signal wiring before connecting speakers. Use 4-ohm speakers for the listed bridged configuration, and set gain and crossover controls to suit the connected speakers and source unit.
