The Ausdom AD260 is a compact windshield-mounted dash camera designed to continuously document driving activity. Its 2.7-inch TFT LCD provides a local screen for framing, menu setup, and reviewing recordings. It is suited to drivers who want a dedicated camera for everyday road recording rather than relying on a phone.

The AD260 records in several widescreen and standard video modes, including 2304 x 1296 at 30 fps and 1920 x 1080 options. Its Ambarella A7LA50 chipset and OV4689 CMOS sensor support H.264 video recording in MOV format. HDR and WDR functions are included to help the camera manage scenes with mixed bright and dark areas.

For continuous use, loop recording automatically replaces older unprotected clips when card capacity is reached. The built-in G-sensor can lock the active video file after an impact event, helping preserve footage from overwrite. An SOS lock control is also provided for manually protecting a recording.

The camera accepts a microSD card up to 64GB and includes a 250mAh rechargeable lithium battery for short-term operation. A car charger powers the AD260 from the vehicle, and the camera can automatically begin recording when vehicle power is available. Motion detection and parking-mode functions are also available for selected recording needs.

A suction-cup mount and rotating camera arrangement allow the AD260 to be positioned on the windshield with a clear view of the road. Built-in microphone and speaker hardware supports recorded audio and on-camera playback. HDMI output and USB 2.0 connectivity provide options for reviewing or transferring recorded files.

Design & Installation

The AD260 combines a 2.7-inch color TFT display with a full-glass-and-metal 7G lens assembly rated at f/2.0. Physical controls, an integrated microphone, a built-in speaker, USB, HDMI output, and a microSD card slot are built into the camera body. Its compact enclosure measures approximately 4.1 x 1.9 x 0.9 inches.

Mount the included suction bracket to a clean windshield area with an unobstructed forward road view, then adjust the camera position before recording. Connect the included car charger to the camera's Micro USB charging port and a vehicle power outlet for normal driving use. Install a compatible microSD card before use; Class 6 through Class 10 cards are supported, with a maximum listed capacity of 64GB.
